Protection of personal information (Quebec’s Law 25)

Effective July 6, 2026

This policy explains what personal information the le4der.com site collects, why, how it is kept and what your rights are. It is written to be read in five minutes, without jargon.

This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1Who is responsible

The site is operated by Kodra. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is:

Sébastien Bélisle
Email: seb@kodra.ca

2What we collect

  • Your email address, when you create an account or pay for a subscription. It is the account’s only identifier: there is no password and no profile.
  • Your payment information (name, billing address, card number, tax numbers where applicable), collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card number never passes through our servers and we have no access to it.
  • Minimal technical data related to the operation of the service (the host’s access logs, a session token in your browser).

We use no advertising cookies and no marketing trackers. The only thing stored in your browser is the sign-in token needed to keep your session open.

3Why we collect it

  • to create your account and send you your sign-in and access links;
  • to collect the subscription payment and the applicable taxes;
  • to manage your subscription (expiry, renewal, refund, support);
  • to meet our legal obligations, notably tax and accounting obligations.

Your information is never sold and never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

4Where it is kept and who has access

We use service providers to run the site. Each receives only what its function requires:

  • Supabase (authentication and database): your email address and the status of your subscription. Data hosted in Canada (Canada Central region).
  • Stripe (payment): your billing information. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
  • Netlify (site hosting): technical access logs.
  • Supabase also handles sending the sign-in and access links to your email address.

These providers may store data outside Quebec, notably in the United States. We limit what is sent to them to the strict minimum.

5How long

Information linked to your account is kept for as long as your account exists. After your subscription ends, it is kept for the time needed to process a possible renewal, then deleted or anonymized, subject to the records the law requires us to keep (tax and accounting records, generally 6 years).

6Your rights

At any time, you may:

  • request access to the information we hold about you;
  • have it corrected if it is inaccurate;
  • request that your account be closed and your information deleted, subject to legal retention obligations;
  • withdraw a consent you have given.

Write to the person named in section 1. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

7Privacy incidents

If an incident involving your personal information presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify you, as well as the Commission d’accès à l’information, as required by law.

8Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its effective date.
